Artist's Comments

I took my pencil sketch of Disney's Darkwing [link] and tried a few new techniques to color it. A friend of mine mentioned the lock transparency angle as opposed to the magic wand, and I think I prefer it now even though it involves more layers. Besides, those moving dotted lines are so distracting!

I also didn't do much with the airbrush this time, harking back to the days of the crappy old program I had with the dodge and burn tools, smoothing it out by applying a blur (also mentioned by my friend) so it won't be so streaky and uneven. Anyway. . .

Doesn't he make ya want to get dangerous? ;)
