This topic should never be touched on. It just brings about sorrow. It's always hard losing a friend, but it's heartbreaking losing one that was imaginary, especially since it's probably the best one you've had.

Is it possible to get in touch with your inner child as an older individual?

Yes.

Will we ever be able to have the same feelings, the same memories, and the same perspectives on such things with all that we know now?

I don't know about that one.

This is a very powerful piece here...one that reminds me of my own childhood, especially with the stories that my family tell of me back then. I don't even remember some of it happening yet...in some way...I feel within me that it was true.
