I've been trying to fight off a nasty infection for a while and it finally looks like the worst is over. I'm so worn out though and have fallen way behind with stuff I'd been trying to stay on top of, like WWOEC, my personal website, and some random projects that have been gnawing at the back of my mind.

At least I'm keeping up with my current project: coloring the pages of Mindy in Space 2 for JKRcomix. I most likely won't be working on any other art-related projects until I at least reach the halfway point. Luckily I have the luxury of taking my time on this one, unlike the first Mindy in Space where I procrastinated to the point of panic and did quite the rush job.

Still, the sooner I get it done, the better. Rey gave me the added incentive of pointing out that we can finally pick out my new monitor once the project is done. He sees that every time we go to the electronics store I find myself drawn to the big shiny monitors and wonder how awesome it would be to get to draw and color with them. I think it would be a lot easier on my eyes to have a bigger monitor anyway . . . I'm as blind as a bat you know, even with these glasses.

Regardless, it just feels good to be productive for a change. I've done a handful of other projects with JKR, including the O Girl pic from a while back that I recently uploaded:



I'm pretty happy with how she turned out and am looking forward to whatever else I get to do with her in the future.
